hi all,im not new to fish but i wernt sure were to post it.I was wondering if i could keep 3 - 5 baby discus in a community tank. The tank will either be a 4ft taank or a 3ft tank(bowfront :good: ).thankyou all.If you yhave any pictures of any fish i would love to see them.

IMO Discus are best kept in an only species tank. They need a 55g minimum and do best in groups 5+. They are really hard to keep and I do not recommend them to anyone with little fishkeeping experience as they are one of the harder species to keep.

Discus are VERY sensitive to water condition changes and demand very soft water with little room for anything else. They are best keep in species tanks (like said before) and are difficult to keep.

i ahve seen them sucessfuly kept in community tanks but u need to place ur other fish around the discu if u want a discu its need come first so u will have 2 select fish that can live in discus condtions my tank is undecyde about discus im about 50:50 atm i have the right fish just aint sure if i wanna go the discu route as ther alot more work then normal
