Ever since i transferred my 9 discus from my 240 litre tank to a new 400 littre tank, 1 of my red stone discus has been constantly chasing all the other discus around (this is especially pronounced at feeding time), will it settle down?

It will in time, they are just re-establishing a pecking order and territorial disputes will always arise. You've got a good number of fish, so its not likely to stress any particular fish dangerously.

Once the alpha male asserts his dominance, the others will kep out of his way and be submissive, things should calm down then.

He sounds like he's just freaking out because he's in a strange enviroment and he's trying to fend for himself. That's happened to some of my fish, but they were mollies.

This is common to Discus as they are establishing a pecking order...like what Ken said, you shouldn't worry about it since you have a big group and the dominant one won't focus on just one discus. I just got one new discus and I added him on my tank that has 2..the first day I put him in my biggest discus would constantly chase the new guy around and actually did some nipping, now they settled down and all the chasing and nipping has stop, there's an occasional burst of temper, but it usually happen during feeding time....Good luck on your discus.... :D
