Discus Food

What do u find the best food to feed discus on like their staple diet ie flake etc?

Mine are very picky eaters so it took me a while but I've been able to get them to eat NLS thera a forumla, tetra colrobits, omega one flake and of course frozen bloodworms.

ive got them on tetra prima a the monment, just wondered is their a superior food better for them or not really?

prima is fine as a staple, but IME needs supplementing with frozen foods for the fish to look at their best.

yes i do supplement with frozen and live foods etc

to be honest I usually only feed dry foods to ensure there are no dietary deficiencies, probably 80% is frozen

About 90% of my adult fishes diet is frozen. Approx. 66% of my babies is frozen.

mine love tetra prima and freeze dried brine shrimp mainly plus i feed them some frozen food and homemade beefheart mix.
