Discus Fish

I thought discus fish were supposed to be placid, my six discus almost constantly chase eachother and bite/nip, doesn't seem to leave marks maybe its not agressive. Is this natural for discus?

Yes this is natural behavior for them it's kind of aggressive play

I inherited my tank off a friend, originally he had 4 discus, there's only 1 left now, apparentley he worried the other 3 to death. I had 2 golden angel fish of my own and put them in the tank. He started to bully them. I bought a red tailed shark and now he doesn't bully anyone any more.
