Discus Died Not Happy

my big albeno discus died due to me forgetting to plug the heater back in after doin a big 50% change in water must of been unplugged for to days rest of discus seem fine... water was down to 24 deg good job the heating is on in my house or water would of been at lot lower...this is the poor dead fish ... best pic i had any way

I didn't think 24 degrees would be too cold for a Discus



BTW, cool tank. Is it a custom made job or an off the shelf? I'd be interested in one as a room divider

He wasn't an albino, he was a reather unusual pidgeon blood

24C won't be the primary caurse of death, mine endured a week without heating, with the tank temperature at about 20c when my heaters failed a few months back. I did have an outbreak of Flukes after that though. In short, the drop in temperature won't be the caurse of death, though it could be a factor in it I think you need to be observant for a few days, as something more sinister may be going on, though I hope for your case there isn't

ill keep my eye out first fish ive had die for about a year....

fish tank cost about 2k i never paid that thou i got it second hand of a woman who emigrated to canada so i got it for 200 ha ha best bargain ever!!!
