can i keep them together in a 180L corner tank?
thanks!

Im sure that if you put 1 of each in there, that they would fit. But would probably be very lonely. But if you have more than that, it become overstocked. I dontr really know your exact size, so i cant really tell you! SOrry!

yes, around 40 gallons...
93W x 66D x 150H cm

Are you sure of those dimensions are 150cm sounds very tall...

As Kribensis12 said the discus shouldn't be kept alone, so personally I'd stick with the angels. As the tank is not big enough for discus.

You might be able to get away with 4 discus in there, bare bottom and nothing else. They could pair/fight or might just be shy.

id go for the angels. i have a pair in my 35 gallon and they are amazing and have great personalities. cant wait to have discus sometime though

The tank is too small to house both angels and discus. As stated, discus prefer to be in groups. Young angels prefer to be in groups, for safety, but as they get older, aggression will occur.

discus OR angels in a tank that size but wouldn't advise mixing. Both need their space and corner tanks although offering volume don't offer enough true space for more than 4 adults of either species and 2+2 of each wouldn't have as much visual value.

Angles should be fine. You could get a few in there... If they get too aggressive with each other, then just take a few out...

Discus may be hit or miss. Some Discus get along great with each other, but others aren't so nice. 4 Discus is almost always hit or miss...

I have a 190l trigon with 5 discus in and no trouble!!!but mine is a bare bottom and I run two filters! go for it! aslong as you are prepared to give them a lot of water changes and a healthy diet!

Okay, but are your Discus adults? Adult Discus are going to be more aggressive, and with less space more willing to attack other Discus.

Plus, this is a 40 gallon, yours is a 50 gallon... 10 more gallons = 1 more Discus which means less aggression.
