disaster strikes!!!!

well....what a day ive had

woke up this mornin and had a puddle on me bedroom door .....thought it was my lil bro drippin from havin a shower...so i went n got a drink n came back to my room

so anyway....i closed my door and heard 'PING PING PING PING'

so i looked behind my door and saw a drop of water falling n hitting my metal bin

......panicking i dropped my drink and inspected my tank closely

it was leaking!!!!!

so......i went to my local garden centre coz thats where i got my tank and told the guy what had happened

quite shocked he said he'd make a call to juwel

after the call the man from the garden centre said that he's ordered me a new tank but it wouldnt be til next wednesday so he's lent me a tank to keep my fishes in for the meantime

anyway.....just thought id let u all know

lucky you caught it when you did. that happened to my friend, they didn't realize it, left for work, came home to find 10 gal of water soaked into their carpet and their fish struggling in about and inch of water (and a cat standing guard). hope your fishies are okay

yeah it was quite lucky....really coulda done without it tho....lots of hassle

*Phew* I thought ur tank's wiped out when I saw ur thread topic Luckily u caught it in time!! But that means u'll have to do a cycling again although it'll take shorter time... or there'll only be a mini cycle?
