:-( I just got back from a two week vacation, and I left the care of my fish in my sisters hands. She is responsible and trustable and knew how much a cared for my fish. So she promised to feed them and turn on the light and turn it off for me while I was away. Well I had a small black moor in my tank, which was my favorite of all the fish I have ever had. It was the friendliest fish I have ever had. If I was sticking my arm in the tank to clean it, the fish would swim over and rub its body against my arm and i would give him fish kisses where I would kiss the outside of the tank and he would kiss from the inside with his body just rubbing it back and forth onthe tank. He would follow me around and eat out of my hand. I can't believe he is gone. I am really bummed out. The thing that freaked me out is that he just disappeared my little sister said none of my fish died and she said that he was there before. It isn't possible for him to jump out because it is completely covered. I do have a common small pleco in the tank to that I am trying to get rid of but can't find anyone to give him to. Do you think that he could have ate him? Bye bye my wonderful Sugar (his name). :byebye:

The common plec wouldn't have killed it but would have eaten its body if it died, even though they are vegetarians they find it difficult to get protein in their diets and so don't let oppotunitys for protein miss when they become apparent- but i wouldn't have expected it to take a while for one to chomp through the fish and eat him completely, at least a couple of days.
Check the tank behind filters and heaters, under or hidden amoungst ornements and planted areas. What other fish do you have in the tank?
