The water looks cloudy but when looking close I can see millions of white specs/particles. And dozens of tiny white fibres ( about 5mm ) done water change (25-30%) 2 days ago. Filter is running but isn't cleaning it up, it is juwel bioflo 3.0 in the last week I have added 2 x cirax media (ceramic media) that were rinsed before installing, the poly pads are changed weekly.

Water test show ammonia 0 nitrite 0 and nitrate 10

Planted , white sand , bog wood , slate ... All been in aquariums for months (1-6months)

Sounds like what I had this in my tank! Can u see anything that looks abit like powder on the glass especially near the filter! I've mine near a window which is my plants main light source! Some say white algae but most think it's a fungus which can be caused by over feeding or the left overs turning!

I can't really see any thing at the back where the filter is but I do get a little white algae/fungus on the glass at the front probably because my lights stay on so much.

There is millions of it floating in the water.

Yea I could see loads of specs in the water to! Do u give ur fish a fast once or twice a week! See if cutting back a little helps! If it's fungus it grows from as said excess waste or if u have any plants make sure all dead leaves are removed! I still get it from time to time! My fish are piggies and have a diet of high protein food which im sure doesnt help! Also u could try getting a snail if it is algae the snail should eat it but if it's fungus it shall not! Atleast then you could narrow it! I've recently bought a snail to see how it gets on but he's tiny Lol not added him to the tank yet!!

Been looking for snails but all my LFS don't have any. I recently got 4 Amano shrimp. I left lights off all day yesterday and didn't feed for about 30hrs but still there. I am looking at a 2000l/hr external filter with uv steriliser to add to my internal maybe that will help

Just wipe off any you see and if any on the plants try remove it as best u can before water changes! Unfortunately it won't go straight away needs bit of persistence!!
