Dirty Tank

hi i have just come back off my hoilday and my tank in horrible.There is brown muck every where and all over the slate etc.The water leverls are fine but everything is filthy what is the best way to clean it all, and i havent done water changes for over 2 weeks.Do you think i should take all of the fish out and start again?

i`m going to guess its just alge...

Do your usual tank maintanance water change ect, and just remove the slate ect and scrub it

If you start from scratch you will make it worse, your tank will have already been cycled, (as you have said your levels are ok) so just do your changes, and clean the ornaments, if its mucky on the glass, just scrape it off, depending on how dirty everything is you might need to do a wee change to get any excess muck out of the tank.

yeah clean all your ornaments and glass before you do a water change, then when it's cleaned suck the crud out with a siphon and do your water change.
