Dinosaurs At The Zoo

We went to the zoo on Saturday, as we often do, but this day was different. The crowds were unreal. I think everybody in Texas was there, it was outrageous. Luckily we're zoo members so we didn't have to wait in the mile long line for tickets (you think I exaggerate, but I don't!, it was that freakin' long)

Anyway, they have a new exhibit of the extinct kind....robotic dinosaurs. They move, their eyes scan the crowd and they roar. The kids were all lovin' it as you can imagine. I got some fairly good pics but not of all the dinos, we didn't see all of them. I figure we'll just go back this week whern the crowds have died down.

Anyway, don't ask me their names But I could look at my dino map if you really must know...

my 2nd favorite, it reminded me of Ducky from a Land Before Time, yup,yup,yup it did!

absolute favorite, I think because it was hardly noticable..

Looks great! Last time I went to the Ft. Worth zoo, it was about a couple of years ago. The best zoo I've ever been to, that's for sure.

we love it too. We really, really use our membership and often go two to three times a week during off school times like summer and spring, even winter. Sometimes just to walk around for an hour or so and have lunch,or go for a quick visit after school.

Kiddo has a field trip to the zoo next week. I think we're going to pass on seeing the dinosaurs this week so she can enjoy them with her classmates next week.
