I have:

1 fishtank
24 beautiful plants from the Green Machine, currently sitting in the bath
3 bags of eco-complete
Some wood and rocks

Unfortunately, I need 3 more bags of eco-complete and a large piece of wood, that are on order and I was hoping would arrive today, but no luck.

The plants have been in the bath for a couple of days already, and I'm not too keen on leaving them in there too long.

Should I substrate and plant up half the tank, putting in a foot or so of water, and then finish it off when the rest of the substrate arrives, or should I leave it all as is for now until I have everything I need? I'd worry a little about leaving the water in the tank for a few days without the water running (although the same applies to the bath, I guess).

Thoughts? Thanks.

I think I'd go ahead and add what you have to the tank. It's ultimatly up to you though :) I would just be worried that the plants weren't getting enough light etc sitting in the bath.

wait, i mean what 2 days? that wont make much difference.

put the plants in the tank and fill but with no substrate, then when the time comes, drain the tank, put the plants in the bath (ensuring theyre kept in pots all the time) then add substrate fill up and plant
