Digital vs Glass thermometer, who's right

I've been watching my Temp sit at 77f with no problems since I set the tank up (about 4-5 weeks ago) using a glass thermometer. I thought i'd treat myself to a Digital one (Hagen Aqua minder) but thats showing 82-83f. pretty much the same story in a bucket of water-change water with a heater set at 77f.

what do you reakon, Is the Digital one just knackered?

Problem solved..........

Just tried it out on my fridge in the kitchen, it was out by the same amount.

Try Coral Life's Digital..it matches exactly with my LCD back up. SH
