I know that africans dig, but do green terror dig in the substrate? there is a hole forming almos all the way to the ground. i was thinking maybe the GT is digging a hole before laying eggs? i think mine is a female as it is about 4"+ and has no sign of a hump forming.

Yes. GTs dig too. GTs and other Cichlids like Jack Dempseys dig pits when about to spawn.

Yep, my GT regularly re-arranges my tank, i'm sure he does it just to annoy me.

Yep, i have a male, the dorsal and anal fins are longer and more pointed with males.
