I am not entirely sure if these are good bulbs or not. I had 2 with the tank but one doesn't work. The one that works is:
DHG Water Plant Aquarium Lamp Degenbao 30W 36"
I have replaced the other one with:
SUN Glo 40W 42" (thats all that is on the bulb)
This is taken from my old tank.
Should I get different bulbs or should these be ok for now?
The tank is 320litres ish.

They should be fine. I personally prefer to use the 865 colour bulbs from Philips or Osram.. they work very well, but cost only £2-3 instead of the £15-20 that aquarium bulbs do.

Would they work ine for plants as I am looking to be getting a lot more plants in the tank and wanted to make sure they have efficient lighting!

It really depends on which plants you have and if you will fertilise/use CO[sub]2[/sub]. I have grown some plants without anything extra under that sort of lighting without problems.

No CO2 as it seems it would be expensive on a tank my size!
I am still deciding on ferts for the tank, liquid seems expensive but the dry confuses me still haha!
I am getting:
Vallis
Amazon Swords
Java Fern
Dwarf Hairgrass
Dwarf Sag
Pygmy Chain Sword
Riccia (I know is better with CO2 but hoping it will be ok)
And I have some moss already.
