i dont think that she has a desease, i just think that the male may have beat her up a bit. in one of my tanks, there is a dominant cichlid that would have every fish pinned up in a corner and if it moved, he would attack them. after a couple days, he calmed down and let the other fish swim with an acational bite or chasing. i think that the male is just showing dominance over the female. if the JD has some fungus or something, than it is a deaseiese as probably would know. if there is a large wound, i would put metaflex in there or something. i have 3 JD's that im trying to get rid of, and once they showed dominance over one another they were fine. now they swim together with just a little bit of fighting. but some fish are just so aggressive they will never stop.
