Hi
I have a 50 gallon uk tank
I have
14 scissors tails
10 neons
6 fantoms ( I think that is what you call them )
16 guppies
All doing ok
I only put the 10 neons in a few days old
But now fish just seem to be dieing
I now have
6 neons
10 guppies
4 fantails ( I think )
The scissors are so fast I can not count them I think there is about 14
2 scissor tails are not looking good now they are hiding under the filter & there tails do not seem to be working prob ??
Most of the neons when I first put them in the tank had big stomach but it did not look like they were going to have babies its looks like they had some thing wrong with them
The guppies & fantails seemed to get red gins before they dead

Any ideas what is wrong I think its something to do with the red grins

thanks

Exactly what do you mean by red grins/gins? Is there anything else specific you are seeing when you say they are not looking well?

Also, as the previous poster said, we need to know your water stats (Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH). These numbers help us get a better picture of whta is going on in the tank.

they seen to go red in the gins & i can not really see anyhing else which is wrong with them
i will try & get the water stats when i get home :good:

Red gills can be due to water quality so need stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, are the fish flicking and rubbing, and any signs of laboured breathing.
