thanks for that andy. i know how those work but i didn't realise it was a moving waterfall in that tank. i thought it was a background picture with well positioned plants.

my LFS (Japanese Koi Company, Henlow) sells the water falls as an aquarium add on. they look like a miniature fake rock water fall for a pond. very realistic moulded plastic. ready to place in the tank and plug in. i just looked past them along with all the treasure chests etc... that tank must look truly awesome in the flesh so to speak.

now your giving me ideas...i may try one in my new tank if i can find a space where it will blend in. hmm more gadgetry...so tempting.

When I saw that waterfall I thought it was done simply using air bubbles which were collected by an overhang of clear plastic at the 'top' of the waterfall to stop the bubbles reaching the surface of the water.

Obviously that was too simple for this chap!

Not really my find. I have to own up. I saw it on APC and wondered if anyone here who hadn't already seen it would like to.
