Odd question really! I got a package with some hairgrass, some moss and what I believe to be pelia through the post the other day, but I didn't order it or pester anyone for it (that I remember!) Anyone send me some plants? Just wanted to say thanks :)

Unfortunately, cos I wasn't expecting them, they ended up at the local sorting office for nearly a week :( I think the Pelia will be ok, the rest didn't look too hot unfortunately.

.

Hmmm

I'm not pestering or begging. Infact this post doesn't exist. Your just imagining it. But oh boy I'd love a big big tank.
I'd be in if it ever got delivered next Wednesday, about 10am, too.

Id also say thanks publicly on the forum too.

Edited due to a stupid error.... but you don't know that, cause this post doesn't exist

Yeah, like you said above: A bib tank. Gimme, gimme, gimme.

Hold on, it's disappeared, ho hum. No Bib Tank for me then

Wow. One of the weirdest posts I've seen... strangely entertaining however. And no I didn't send any random plants to anyone... wish I could get random aquarium stuff in the mail.

Santa claus came early but since you were bad. He didnt leave you a notice

Hmm, was it that dude selling all those mosses in the buy/sell/swap section?

Yep :) And the little tank etc. I was buying them off him, but he ended up saying "I'll send them to you in a few weeks for free" which was about a month ago I think. The reason they were at the post office is cos there wasn't enough postage paid

Ah well, it was nice of him to send them :)

Most people haven't realised the impact of Royal Mail's change in pricing policy and the introduction of large letters, packets etc.

Recently, when I've asked for SAE's for plants a lot of people have sent me A5 jiffy bags with one or two 1st class stamps on them which just isn't enough since the jiffy, once filled, is too big to be classed as a "large letter" and therefore becomes a packet at about twice  the cost of what it was previously. It's costing between £1-1.50 for these things now!

Luckily, I work in an office which has it's own franking machine with a letter size indicator so I can sort, weigh and frank stuff myself. But if I get a pre-paid envelope, it's up to the owner of the envelope to sort out postage in my opinion.
