Hey guys. I picked up a couple Bolivian Rams from petsmart a week or two ago, just picking out one colorful one and one bland one and threw them in the tank, they're only about an inch and a half long, and I wasn't concerned about their genders.
The days going by, they bickered and swam away now and then, sometimes locking lips (if you can even call it that with Rams) but no harm was ever done to either.
Over the past 2 days, though, they've seemed pretty inseparable, always side by side, no flaring or nipping or anything. I wasn't even trying for a pair, though.
I've heard people usually buy a big group of them to get this to happen, and I didn't even look for their genders.
Is it possible they actually paired up, or have they just settled their differences and stopped having ram battles?
