Did I Get A Girl Guppy?

I bought this orange guppy from assorted male guppies along with 2 other male guppies. After acclimating them I put them my tank and 3 other guppies keep swimming near him in a harassment like.

The reason I asked is because 3 other male keeps trying to swim with it. Oddly this is the only guppy that keeps being chased next to.

Sounds like you need some female guppys so that the boys let out some hormones as it sounds like there fighting.

Guppies are quite boisterous, adding another 2 or 3, if you have the capacity, will help spread out the bickering.

If you do get females, you need to get at least 6, because the recommended ratio is 1m:2f, and this hugely increases the chances of having fry survive. You could end up being overrun with fry. And then you need to find someone to take them from you.
