Diatoms Everywhere, Need Help

I have Diatoms EVERYWHERE in my tank and it looks horrible. I need help. How can I can rid of them?

increase your lighting
either have current lights on for longer
start around 10hrs a day
increasing by half hour increments untill they go (max 12hr)
or
add another light source.

But I have my lights on for at least 14 hours a day..... is that not enough?

Are you sure it's diatoms and not some type of algae?

i have diatoms AND algae (both in the 10 gallon and diatoms in the 75 gallon) do you own mollies? they eat diatoms. as for the algae... we're workin on that problem
