Diatom Problem

Argh this stuff is really annoying! Will it ever go? Its covering my plants and glass.

Tank: 11g
Light: 14w 15in light (1.3wpg) -am upgrading with an 8w light which wll make it 2wpg

Ya, I had the same problem when I started up. The oto's just love it and my thermometer never looked so clean. The had pretty much all the diatoms cleaned up in a matter of a couple days.
