Can anyone advise I have searched and cant find anything. With guppy fry is there any noticable difference in development rates between males and females?
I am gonna attempt to seperate my fry tommorow as I am really concernered about interbreeding them and from what I can tell the females seem to have grown far bigger than their male siblings?
Probably a really stupid question but I dont mind showing myself up again !!! LOL

female guppies grow bigger than males anyway so the young females usually get bigger faster.

it all depends if you don't feed enough, the fish will grow at the same rate and you only tell once the young males develop colour or a gonopodium which could take around 3 months or so to be sure.

thanks for your replies, they are fed VERY well lol
Gonna be a long day tommorow seperating them all ... can't wait
Becks.
