Hey guys.

Last night I left some food out over night (brine shrimp.) I got up, found it sitting on the table, and immediately stuck it back into the freezer. It should be fine for future use right?

Thanks,

DL

Overnight I would only refridgerate it and use it as soon possible. I don't trust refrozen food.

Hmmm... Maybe i'll just chuck it. It does get cold here overnight though. I think it was like 6 Celsius last night. Our apartment heaters are broken, so thats what the temperature was, or about that...

Keep it in the fridge and give them a little extra helpings fo afew days if you don't want to toss it. Depending on how much it thawed it could be safe. It's really a personal choice if you want to refreeze it or not. Everyone has their own opinions on what is safe and isn't. I don't even like taking scrapings off my cyclops for my fry because it causes the block to melt while I hold it though it hasn't done any harm yet with thawing/freezing, I'm still looking for a way to reduce even that.
