Depressed?

I know that i need to get my molly a mate, but i cant do that until the filter for the new tank comes!
but ever since his best friend died hes been hanging around the filter at the top looking out of the tank

is this something i should be really worried about? or will he cope untill late this week?

just for other info, hes still eating and has no markings on him, his gills are at normal breathing speed and can swim when he feels like it everything else is fine, its just he doesnt want to do anything

I don't want to sound inconsiderate but he will probably be fine if he only looks sad. Just make sure this doesn't last long.

I just don't fancy losing anymore fish, i get way too upset =[

Me too! I completely understand. If your fish sounds healthy then I'd wait on getting a buddy.
