Hi Donkey,

I think a few of use use (or have used) these tubes in the past, myself included. I don't think they'res any debate that the plants like them, but the colour is very warm and not to everyones taste.

yep excellent tubes, i have one in both my planted tanks along with arcadia freshwater tubes to bring the colour up. dennerle on their own looks a little red/orange but the plants love it. definatly worth a buy in combination with something else in the 6-7500K range.

thanks but i need 48 inch ones . the reason i was thinking about the Dennerle lamps was at the moment i have some T5s over the tank but it makes my tank look a little washed out so as the Dennerle lamps have a red tint to them it might make the tank look a little better
