My Jack Dempsey is cracking me up. I added some medium sized gravel into the tank and he is moving it one rock at a time out of his cave.

By the Way any Eugene Oregonians should check out Liquid Sunshine they have Beautiful Electric Blue Dempseys for $29. I am seriously thinking of rearranging everything and trying to sneak one in my tank.

This is natural cichlid behavior. They will all "rearrange" their tank to their liking no matter how many times you move everything back. It can be quite amusing too to see how they think it looks best :good:

If your current jd has been in the tank for over a week or two, then I would def be careful adding another. If they are juveniles then I would think you would be ok but make sure you watch them as they grow because one day it could turn into a large battle-royal. I guess before I say its ok, I should ask what size tank it is, because anything under 90G for two adult jd's isn't sufficient. You would prob need more space for two adult males (and yes, for the people reading this, I know eb's can be a little more tame but still no reason to take the chance of getting too small a tank to have to get rid of one of them one day)

Good luck with your jd. They can be a beautiful fish and I love mine!
