Deltec Mce 600 Skimmer

Hi there

Does anyone have any ideas how to quieten donn an MCE 600. I have had this for a year and it is driving me mad. The noise is like the buzz that you hear if you stand next to and electric substation or pylon.

I have tried the following with no success.

New bearings and shaft
Upgrade kit: ie small rubber sliding mounts for the motor
New motor and impellar
Mount the motor on foam
Place foam between Skimmer body and Aquarium.

Any suggestions would be great or if you know of any hang on Skimmers that are quiet and I will buy a new one.
