There are many posts on this forum about how hard guppies are to keep.
My flame tailed feeder didn't live long at ALL, but my boys ember and apollo are delta tailed, and EXTREMELY hardy.
They lived through ich, (ember never even got ich, even when the whole tank was infested) and a good week of ich treatment. They have survived for weeks in a WAY too small tank with improper fixtures due to me not doing research. They are still going strong, even with questionable water, space, etc.
Has anyone else here kept these guppies? Not saying you SHOULD treat them bad, I feel horrible and am trying to get them in a better lving condition ASAP, but for them to live through all this, is pretty cool, when every single last thing in that tank bit the dust to ich. (6 neons and a feeder guppy.)
I have only seen delta tailed guppies come in yellow and orange.
