Delivery Lenght

Hello,
How long does it take for a platy to deliver her babies? She has dropped one fry that I have seen, and now it has been an hour and no more fry. I have her in a breeder net and have been watching since I saw the first fry so I am pretty sure they are not being eaten. Also she seems to be pooping alot. Is this normal during delivery?

It can take a couple hours to a day or two. Just depends. Pooping is normal,my guppies do that too. My platy female has taken anywhere from 2 days once,to 4 hours once.

Thanks for the info. When I got up this morning, there were 7 fry. I took her out to save the ones I had.
