Dehydrated Decapsulated Brine Shrimp Eggs.

I just bought some off Ebay and they have arrived.Do i just need to soak these for a few mins then feed?

I gave up hatching them because it only worked once after over 10 tries at it. I just buy them live from my LFS now.

that doesn't sound right. The dry eggs are normally brown but once they have been decapsulated they become orange andneed to be kept moist in a super saline solution otherwise they die.

To hatch them out simply put 1litre of seawater into a 2litre icecream bucket. Add an airstone and leave to bubble. Use a plant mister to wash the eggs off the side of the container several times a day. 24-48 hours later the eggs will have hatched.
To collect the shrimp remove the airstone and leave the water to sit for a couple of minutes. The shrimp will be orange and gather near the edges. Use an eye dropper to siphon them out. The shrimp like light so if you have a torch near one side most of the shrimp will gather there.
After removing some of the nauplii (baby shrimp) put the airstone back in the bucket and leave until you need more shrimp. A culture like this will live for a couple of days.
It's a good idea to start a new culture every day or two if you are feeding fry.

They're definately decapsulated.I just assumed they were dehydtrated.Must have been wrong.

That's interesting, they're red
The eggs are normally brown so if they are brineshrimp eggs then they have been decapsulated.
Maybe they are dried eggs from another type of shrimp.
Does the company you bought them from say they can be hatched? If so you should try to hatch some and see what they grow into.

They're a sort of rusty colour up close.

All i got from the seller said 'simply soak in water for a few mins'.
But i just wanted a second opinion so i came on here.

I guess the "soak in water for a few minutes" was to soften them up so they were easily eaten.
I doubt they will be able to hatch if they are hard and dry.
Oh well if the fish eat them that's a great source of nutrition. And having them prepackaged saves on hatching them

You can even just place some in water for 10-15 mins and let them swell, you can feed this without even going through the process of hatching.

Now if they do something like that for fish eggs I might be able to get my cleaner shrimp to metamorphose and settle. Then I can make a fortune selling red line cleaners.
