So I was thinking of 18-24 guppies with a plec. I'll probably do 18 total with 3 different kinds... so 3 groups of 6. Right now, I'm just shopping around to see what types are out there. Never had guppies before, so I'm looking forward to them. :D

sounds good, be sure to post some pics so we can see the finished prodct!! :good:

No negativity needed... there's no problem. I have a LFS down the street with bristlenoses and I've been looking at various tanks there that are exclusively males.

Good deal, I don't think he was necesarily being negative, more just a warning that could've been put a little more friendly

I think guppies would look amazing in a big tank like that. I think males would look nice and colorful, but females and males would look great too. Good luck!! :good:

It Sounds like a good setup! Are you getting all male? Because if you get both you will have 100s of babies in just a few month! Make sure you put some pictures up when there done!

Yeah, I think I'll get all males. I don't want to give myself the work of having lots of babies. I'm still shopping around to see what color variations/types are near me. I found some lyretail males and neon blue tux males, but I would love to see and possibly pickup some cobras.
