20 gallons, sand with a bit of gravel substrate.

Is there anything I should do to the tank for them? I am hoping on getting a male and female, so they will breed.

Also, is there anything i can keep with them that will eat algea that wont get killed? I know I asked this before, but I suck at searching, and dont recall what was said, though I did read ottos, but thought that would be a terrible idea.

We have been succesfully keeping bristlenose plecs with our dwarf puffers now for two years.

Don't hold your breath on the breeding thing!

wow, that is a long time with them! I have herd only 2-4 month is the usuallu time you can have tank mates with them.

I though have never seen a bristlenose pleco around me.
