hi I have a question on aquarium water conditioners that make tap water safe for fish. How much should I add to a 3 gallon pail?. The instructions say 5ml per 10 gallons of water to treat chlorine. I can safely ignore the higher dose for removal of chloramine as I contacted my water supplier and they assured me we don't have chloramines in our water. I always use those standard round 3 gallon cleaning pails for my water changes and maybe im not good with my math lol but im just curious as to how many ML I need to add of dechlorinator to a full 3 gallon pail of new water before adding it to my tank.
thanks

In my head I quickly calculated that 1.7ml would cover 3.3 gals.

In my head I calculated that 1.5ml would treat 3 gallons edit (though far from quickly) edit

5ml for 10 gals means 1 ml for 2 gals or .5 ml for 1 gal.     easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy
