Sometimes Right, Sometimes Wrong but ALWAYS certai
I owe a debt of gratitude to this forum and you guys in it. When I stumbled accross this forum I thought, lets have a laugh. I suggested that all this talk of 'cycle', regular water changes and all the time and money spent on fussing around your fish was, on the whole, a waste of time. Why?, because over the last 4 years I had a modicum of success in the effect that my simple collection of fish had survived on monthly water changes and little all else. (one death in all that time). Well, as you can imagine, that post sturred up quite a commotion! And quite rightly so!
SO, after being put firmly in my place I started to take note and I realised that my fish were just lucky or I was fluky or they were not as happy as I thought.
Oh boy, after the rollicking I got from you guys you'll be glad to know that I do things by the book now
and guess what
I am enjoying my hobby 10 fold and my fish really do look happier. Water changes water testing, you name it and I'm doin' it!
