death of platys

so this morning i got up and did my normal counting of the fishies and noticed 2 more of the platys had gone i raked up afew rocks and found them, dead!there only afrew months old and water is exelent so its not that and i had another one die afew days ago.
number 1 was a red platy gills looked a little white and it went really skinny if that makes any sense.
number 2 looked fine but had a long white poo hanging out of it wen it died
3.was the white female and was really skinny (but ws bullied by her boyfriend so it couldve been that)

now im abit worried and the ramening platys are looking quite fat...almost like pregnant females but theyre males any ideas?

also the 2 guppies and the cories are all doing fine looking normal and acting fine!
im going to the LFS next week so id like to know what it is coz i was supposed to be going tomorro but i dont know now

The skinny platys with the white poo sound like they've got internal bacteria while the male fat platys could just be constipated- what are you feeding them? There's a good med by Interpet called "Anti internal bacteria" and that'll sort out your bacteria problem, if the males are constipated some cooked de-shelled peas fed to them will sort that out

its just confusing me because NONE of the other fish have it exept the platys

Have the fish been flicking and rubbing against objects as pale gills can indicate a gill parasite, also do some water changes and if they have the long stringy poo for a while and it dosn't clear up with the peas, best to get rid of them, as there is no cure for internal parasites in the uk, and they will infect the whole tank.

If we are talking internal parasites as in bacteria, this is a cure as i mentioned in my last post

nope they hacnet been flicking or rubbing just actimg normal!no signe of anything wrong untill i find them dead,the red ones sill lookedperfect tho they were dead and the 2nd was really skinny.ive checked the ramining fishes and they all look fine,its confuzing

all look fine put of the visit to the LFS until next week and if more die il have to go on the 450min drive to the LFS for meds if my dad or mam will drive me that is
