Death Of One Of My Best Gourami

one of my first 3 spots and best breeders died the other day she was a big brown 3 spot and the realy sad thing is how she died i looked in the tank and saw she was acting strang swiming kind of funny like on drugs up side down side to side like she was not in controle of self i thort seeing as other then that she seemed okay i thort after a bit of time she would be back to normal cuz it was kind of acting like they do when they jump out and u just find them in time to save them it was acting like they do then when put back in after that after a few days nuthing had changed no better and i had to go on a trip for the week a friend was feeding when i was away and it died the day befor i got home after a better look at the body i think i no why she was acting cazy i think she hit her head on the glass thats at the top of the tank thats spose to stop them jumping out and and and hurt her brain

that wasnt why, was there anything unusual about how she looked? i think it was a stomach bloat

Eh.. that's definately not why. I'm not an expert, but.. swim bladder, maybe? I'm not sure a fish can die from that...

it happened over night when i was sleeping and sh could still swim realy fast and its realy hard to give details on what she was doing but most of the time it was crazy and strang but still seem to be no lacking in being able to swim far or fast she would swim as much as normal it just seem like she was no longer thinking right i think it was brain damage cuz there was nuthing wrong with body but it looked like she had hit her head ruther hard and i have had them jump out very fast befor and i thort if it hit the tank cover at that speed its posible all the other fish are fine and i had changed nuthing in the tank at that time (i have never had any problems with sick fish befor but if she was sick she did not act like she was unless u call not right in the head sick but i gather your not talking about that
