Yesterday I spotted that one of my female platys was looking rather white around her mouth so I decided to keep a close eye on her... over the course of the next day she got worse (spreading of the whiteness around her mouth) and after searching on this site I put it down to mouth fungus, although still not 100% sure.
However, my query is what to do now. She has just passed on, unfortunaly. It seems that she only lasted a day with any sign of illness, and also what do I do with regards to the other fish in the tank? Do I still need to treat the tank? Should I just watch the tank and see what happens?
I have...
A 70l tank
3 platys (1 male and 2 females)
1 midget sucker loach (Bill)
0 = Ammonia
0 = Nitrite
5 = Nitrate
7.4 = Ph
26C = Water Temp.
