Hi all

Well ive got baby kribs bout 50 of them, mother looking after them well.

Bad news is found the father of the kribs dead !!!! when i did my sunday water change, he was under a piece of bogwood, he was swimming about yesterday but dead 2day

tank stats are normal

Is this usual for kribs?

i have my 2nd tank up and running now, just need a heater, the filter has been in my community tank for nearly a week. will look at putting mother in with the babies if peeps think this will be ok? once i get heater

any ideas?

No its not normal. Long time since I had baby kribs, but ive not lost a parent to date while breeding.

What else is in the tank with them ?

If the stats are all normal and theres no other need to move them, I wouldnt bother. Ah just spotted its a community tank ? Yes pull them out, just monitor the water stats in your new tank.
