I have a 30 gallon with a bunch of guppies and junk in it. it is usually kept at about 75-80 degrees and the ammonia and ph levels are normal from the help of some water conditioners and what not. The trouble is that plant waste gets built up in the bottom not a lot but it begins to look gross. I have always wanted to get a Prawn or crayfish but havent had the time. I decided to try a Prawn and got one for the tank. I let it ajust to the water adn when i let it out it had a field day eating excess food and plants, it was doing fine and i kept a watch on it for a while.
The next morning i look in my tank and the prawn in curled up like those shirmp you eat, obviously dead. Needless to say the same exact thing happened with another prawn about a week later. I have no i dea what the problem could be since there arent any hardcore chemicals or ammonia and stuff. maybe they just dont like my tank or something.

If anyone knows what the scoop is please help. :/
