Dead Platy And Ill(ish)? Golden Wonder Panchax

hi guys...i got home from school today and found my play had died and i was looking at the other fish and i noticed the my golden wonder panchax had like a flake of skin on its head that had kind of peeled of...when i looked at it from the curface i could see that it had come from the side of its head...the only thing that i have recentaly added was some new plants...any ideas as to what might be worong wit my panchax...thanks

How many gallons or lites is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.
Did it look fluffy on the head.
Do you ahve any sharp plants or ornaments in the tank.

hi wilder...its sorted out now...it turns out that the plat was allready 6 or so years old when i got it 2 years ago so must have been an age deal...and the panchax seems to be fine now
