Hello, can anyone help? 2 days ago I bought my first fish. 2 mollies and a betta (all recommended as good hardy fish for cycling) Everything was fine and they all seemed to settle in well then today the silver molly got slower and slower and eventually stopped. After 8 hours of no movement I put my net in and realised she was dead. My water tests were low and I did a 15% water change this morning. She had been so happy yesterday and I just don't know what's happened. This is also making me panic about the other molly and the betta ........ help......... any advice greatly appreciated!

The cycling could have done it. What exactly were your water stats? Also, had you been keeping her with salt? If not, that may have also been it. Check out the pinned topic on salt. :)

Sorry to hear about your bad start to fishkeeping though. :( Cycling with fish is not the best idea...fishless with added ammonia is the way to go.
