Well, as some of you may know, my 50G has been suffering from a bad outburst of ICH over the last week or so. Most of them now seem alot better, after the death of all 3 of my heavily covered clown loaches.

The only fish that I am still worried about are my 2 synodontis petricola and my tiger plec. The synos still have a few white spots on their body and are still trying to rub it off from what I can tell.

My Tiger plec however is an odd one. It was covered in white spots earlier this week. Today however it seems that possibly the parasites have all died. He still has markings on him but I am not sure whether they are scars or dead ICH parasites.

From the picture below you can see the stuff still on his body, however it clearly isn't white as you can see in the picture.

So I just want to know is this dead parasistes? can I start to hope he will recover well at all?

Cheers,

Ben

No, the spots were all bright white before, and now they have all gone yellow, and have started to drop off by the looks of things...

Thus I am asking if it is dead ICH.

Well, he seems pretty bad now... So bad infact that I saw one of the other fish in the 50G trying to eat him!!!!!

So, I fished him out, and into a holding container he has gone... He's not doing great, I can hardly see him surviving the night...
