Dead Female Ram

i woke up this morning to find one of my female rams dead
the only things i can think of as the cause is i never saw her eating... she was smaller than the other female i have but that never seemed to bother her as she'd always stand up for herself.
i checked all the water stats and they were all within normal level.
i introduced more fish on saturday so do you think it could've been the shock of having a fuller tank?

What kind of fish did you add? Were there any marks on her body? Bloating, scratches, bruises? Was she showing any signs of sickness before you found her? Sorry for you loss

Honestly?
Sometimes Rams just keel over from stress. about one in two females and one in 5 males that I did NOT breed that I stick in my tankes bites it within 4 weeks. Sometimes shortly after laying eggs......it's just one of those things....

ok thanks for that... ive had the rams for about 4 weeks so that makes sense.

the other fish in there are the ones in my signature... she had no marks on her... the other fish dont pay attention to the rams...
