Dead Cory?!

Almost!! I got my camera out to take a picture of my adorable little Albino Cories and one did that... lol

Dont worry though, he's just eaten an algae wafer, he cant be feeling too bad!

I hope he's not dead... although I feel that's an unnatural position for a cory... Is he still alive?

Lol! Yes, he's very much alive!! He'd been picking at one of the pebbles when i walked up to the tank, think he was trying to get a better grip on it or something...

He's swimming around quite happily now

oh my! i had one just like that that i found floatin at the top on its back/side and i went to scoop him out and he darted off!! scared the heck outta me

My two have a habit of just sitting on the bottom of the tank and i think they're dead and go to scoop them out and then they swim off... annoying little things!lol They do it to annoy me i think!

Lol! Id read the other thread on the "dead" clown loaches and i thought of that when i saw how that pic came out!! I love these little guys... always up to no good!! Cute!

that kind of happened to me but not with a very good ending.
one of my panda corys was doing that for a couple days, i was kinda confused but like all of u said, they just darted off...

so a fwe days later, i find him laying down, i ignore it and go on with my business, the next day he was still in the same spot and was obviously dead as i was poking him to make sure....

and that happened to 2 of my corys...... hopefully yours are a little tougher

if they are on the bottom oh the tank not moving, it's normal, all cories do that, as long as they arn't in some weird position

*L* I need to get wafers for my cories. They don't play dead for me though, the little buggers. They prefer to chase the tiger barbs around the tank and show them who is boss.

One day, I'm going to have to catch a photo of my smallest little Cory baby chasing a tiger barb. Utterly adorable.

The Tiger Barb puts on his or her most patient "expression" and treats the Cory cats like little siblings. I have Tiger Barb "guardians" and Cory Cat masters. What a whacy tank.

But Cories are awesome I think I may add an albino to my collection. I REALLY want a julii corydoras, though. I'm going to beg my hubby for one

They're both "playing" with the baby snail now... that would make a cute pic too!!lol

Thats the only time ive ever seen any of them do that so im not going to start worrying too much!

BeccaBlain - The albino's are adorable!! I also have a peppered cory and he's really cute... but theres something about those little guys that just makes me want to buy even more! lol
