My white/black angel was found dead this morning. The body was in good shape, so she wasn't "beaten up". That was one of my favorite fish.

I know that with the stocking that I have I have to be very dilligent on water quality and I am.

My parameters are:

NO3 - 0
NO2 - .2
Ammonia - just over 0, but way under 1 (approx .2?) (I'm sure this wasn't the cause)
moderate water (60)
PH 7.5

I don't really know what happened. She wasn't acting weird or anything.

sorry for your loss,
i know how you feel about taking care of your fish and then losing them for no reason, i lost a pictus catfish this morning

xXx

OK can you tell me what condition the fins were in? if the look bedragged/ torn then this is down to the tiger barbs.

also on a side note there are a few fish in your tank that will need rehoming as they grow

The fish was in mint condition besides the fact that it was dead. No visible injuries.

I will have a 90 gallon within the month for the ID's and the clown's - I know the ID's will outgrow that too, but I'll cross that bridge when i get to it. I just can't bring myself to take them back to the LFS.
