I recently blitzed my planted community tank. I was having major blue-green algae and black brush algae problems so stripped the tank down, removed all plants, equipment and decor and scrubbed the algae off (I was gentle with the plants). When I put the plants back they all looked great - clean and bright. Now they're dying on me - looks like the leaves are melting away. I know that even if the leaves die the plants will start growing again in a few weeks but they were all so tall and mature! Is there any way I can save them?

what type of plants are they? they may just be upset because you removed them and might pick up again soon

Anubias, crypts and something I don't know. They've been moved and re-planted plenty of times before and been fine.

The conditions are probably different this time around.
When swords or crypts are moved or stressed then melting can occur but that is only when CO2 is poor. The plants will bounce back eventually.
