As always, Im rather confused!
The ammonia has stayed at 4.0 ppm for 2 weeks - i havent had to add any ammonia to it as it hasnt dropped. I have just tested the water for all other results and this is what my tank reads...
Ammonia: 4.0ppm
PH: 7.6
PH High: 8.0
Nitrite: 2.0 - 5.0ppm (the colour is too similar to tell!)
Nitrate: 5.0
I didnt think that there would be any significant movement from the nitrate/nitrite until there was a drop in ammonia. Is this a common occurance? are these reults 'normal' so to speak? or are changes need?
Please can someone advise the next step for me.
