My 11 year old daughter had her fish die recently (Gold Fish) When i looked in the tank i could see these little creature swimming around, there to small to photograph without a macro lens.

Theres also blueish green blobs of somthing in the bottom that looks like jelly (UK) jell-o (USA) does anyone know what this could be?

Thanks for any replys posted.

It could be Blue Green Algae (cynobacteria) there is a description in the article in my sig.

Yep thats the stuff. Tomorrow morning i'll clean it up. Shall i follow your guide or seeing as her 2 goldfish are dead would you recommend a complete clean with new gravel? Obviously the filter will be the same media but everything else changed or cleaned with salt? Thank you for your reply and link :good:

i would clean it all out, get the gravel and give it a good clean. Does anything in the guide tell you what caused it?
